Our first stop in Morocco is the "red city" of Marrakech.
Tragically, Marrakech has been in the news due to last month's terrorist bombing in the Djma el Fnaa square. You can kind of see the building here (the Argana Cafe). It's hard to take pictures in the square, as anyone on the frame can ask you for money to taking their image!
Some things Marrakech (& Morocco) are known for:
(1) Mint tea -- served (and drunk) everywhere for any occasion. I guess this is what you do when your religion doesn't let you drink alcohol-
(2) Dates and olives -- also available everywhere, also delicios-
(here's the "olive market" in the main souk-)
(3) Souks -- Marrakech's massive and confusing markets sell pretty much anything-
(4) Getting lost -- it is basically impossible to find your way anywhere. There are no maps, there are no signs. This is a typical street-
